A full course hotel-style dinner is provided every evening at 6pm.
A delicious breakfast served at 8am will ensure that you have all the energy that you need for the day's excitement.

As the owner is also a professional chef, no cost is spared in the creation of your meals. The menu changes on a daily basis in tune with the season: both Japanese and Western style food is served.

Wild mountain vegetables and fresh seafood are always used for the authentic Hokkaido style of cooking. International dishes such as Swiss cheese fondue and fresh Italian pasta also feature on our menu to provide a European touch to your holiday.

The dishes will continue to be served even when you thought you were finished - for those who only eat a little, breakfast and dinner will be all the food that you need for a day!

Summer

From April to October a comprehensive range of outdoor-based activities are available.

• Whitewater rafting - experience the excitement of the snow melt on the long course down the Shiribetsu river that winds it's way through the Niseko region.

• Niseko is home to some of the most beautiful alpine plants in Japan, join us on a hike - and don't forget your camera!

• Tandem Paragliding - experience the beauty and peace of Hokkaido from the air!

• Mountain biking - with plenty of mountains in the region this is the perfect place to explore by bike. However, if you don't like the idea of peddling uphill we'll drive you to the top and you can enjoy the long downhill home!

• Canoeing - enjoy the relaxed Hokkaido atmosphere whilst being gently carried along by the riverflow.

• Jam making, ice cream making, an evening onsen (hot spring) tour and a morning rural dairy farm tour are all activities provided at Milky House by the owner, Yasuhiro Nishio, and his wife.

Winter

• Situated just 200 metres from the world-famous Annupuri Ski Resort, Milky House is the perfect base for your winter skiing and snowboarding fun. With an average of three metres of snow covering the slopes between late October and March, you'll never be disappointed when you hit the pistes!

Milky House Originally completed in 1980, Country Inn Milky House underwent extensive interior redecoration in 1995. Wood was used extensively throughout the building to give it a Northern-Country atmosphere. In the summer an abundance of flowers adds to the rural feeling, and in the winter the environment is that of a cosy retreat - just what you need at the end of a hard day's play on the ski-slopes!
